Our Dentists

Dr. John Fayad

General Dentist

Born and raised in Ottawa, Dr. John Fayad began practicing dentistry in 1995. He relocated his professional dental practice to its current location in Barrhaven in January 2003.

Dr. John graduated from Carleton University in 1990 with an Honours degree in Biology and Biotechnology. In 1994, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of West Virginia.

Dr. John is a general dentist who focuses on general dentistry, excellent patient care and frenectomy treatment for breastfeeding babies.

Dr. John loves to spend his time off at the lake with his wife, three teenagers and two dogs.
Dr. Elias Chdid

General Dentist

Dr. Elias Chdid obtained his D.D.S. at the University of Damascus in Syria. After working in his private practice, he began to practice as a resident dentist. This residency provided him with training in many areas of dentistry.

He moved to Canada with his family, first settling in Montréal, and successfully completing his certificate of qualification from the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. He also practised as an Associate dentist in Nova Scotia for 4 years where he was able to achieve high rates of patients trust and satisfaction.

Dr. Chdid is well-versed in the treatment of medically compromised patients, as well as the treatment of children and older patients, delivering compassionate patient care.

He is a true believer in ongoing education and continuous development that creates a great dental practitioner with an advanced skillset.

Outside his professional activities, Dr. Chdid has lifelong passions for photography, reading and traveling. He enjoys music from all cultures and loves hiking and many other outdoor activities.

He is looking forward to meeting you and providing the best dental care in a friendly professional environment.
Dr. Ragini Raghuwanshi

General Dentist

My name is Ragini Raghuwanshi born and raised in India. I am a passionate dentist who finds immense joy in transforming dental health. My journey began in India, where I completed my Bachelor of Dental Sciences. During those formative years, I honed my skills, learned about various dental procedures, and developed a deep appreciation for the artistry involved in creating beautiful smiles.  

In 2017, destiny led me across oceans to Canada, where I continued my pursuit of passion. At the University of Toronto, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. The multicultural environment and cutting-edge research facilities enriched my understanding of dentistry and broadened my horizons.  

I firmly believe that a smile transcends language barriers. It’s a universal expression of joy, confidence, and connection. As a dentist, I consider it my privilege to contribute to this universal language by enhancing smiles. Whether it’s a routine checkup, a complex procedure, or a cosmetic makeover, I approach each patient with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to their well-being.  

My philosophy extends beyond clinical expertise. I emphasize preventive care, patient education, and personalized treatment plans. Every smile is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet individual needs.  

Outside the clinic, I embrace life with zest. As an extroverted soul, I thrive on outdoor adventures. Whether it’s cycling along scenic routes, or simply enjoying a picnic in the park, nature rejuvenates me.  

My greatest joys, however, come from my two little girls and their dad. Family time is sacred. These moments remind me that life’s true treasures lie in shared laughter and genuine connections.
